Attention Active Duty Military
Over the weekend, Democrats, acting on behalf the
vice president’s campaign, used miniscule flaws in 1,400 military
ballots as excuses to deny soldiers and sailors the right to vote. Having
spent 10 years on active duty in the U. S. Navy, including serving as
Voting Rights Officer on two submarines, I am about as angry and
hateful (yes, hateful) as I have ever been.
I want this to serve as a wake-up call for everyone on active duty or in the reserves. I want you to take a moment and think about this: If
Al Gore becomes president by stealing this election, you will be
serving a commander-in-chief who denied you the right to vote because
you are military. Al Gore discriminated
against you because of your uniform as deliberately and hatefully as
his father discriminated against blacks as a U. S. Senator.
I left the Navy after 10 years and with a
Chief Petty Officer job staring at me because I could no longer fathom
the thought of serving under Bill Clinton. With almost 3 years remaining on my contract, I asked to be released from active duty under the Reduction in Forces act. From 1984 to 1993, I had no doubt that I would retire from the Navy, probably as a Limited Duty Officer. But the shame of serving such a flawed man broke my spirit.
Before you re-enlist or continue your commission—before you attend a school that obligates more time—think about this: If Al Gore will take away your right to vote in order to win the White House, what will he do to you to keep it? Will he provoke conflicts? Will he send you into meaningless operations in distant lands? Will he cut benefits? How far will he go? He already took away from you what my father and uncles fought to keep in World War II. He has denied what the patriots fought the British to acquire. He stole your vote for his own benefit.
If Al Gore steals the White House, as it appears he will, and you need help getting out of your military contract legally and without detriment to future career or service, e-mail me at address on this web site. My assistance is free.
If military service means you can’t vote, let’s not have a military service.
