The Democrats shot their wad on the Foley “scandal.” They lost.
The whole thing reminds me of a great scene in “My Cousin Vinny.” A redneck lost a game of pool for $200 to Vinny’s girlfriend but welched on the bet. Vinny called him out, and they redneck was humiliated into paying . . . but he didn’t have the cash. He showed up in front of Vinny’s hotel one night with a wad of bills offering to pay up if Vinny would fight him. Vinny called.
“How do I know that’s not a twenty wrapped around a bunch a ones? Fan ‘em out.”
The redneck looked embarrassed and left.
The Dems and their lying lackies at ABC News are the redneck. Their 16-year-old “victim” turned out to be an 18-year-old former Congressional page. There is strong evidence both the Democrats who cried the loudest and ABC News knew that the “victim” was an adult at the time the alleged solicitations took place. But ABC News wasn’t interested in the truth—they were interested in throwing the November election to the Democrats, just as Dan Rather’s motivation for forging Air National Guard memos in 2004 was throwing the election. Liberals are lying criminals. There is no such thing as an honest liberal, just as there’s no such thing as an honest criminal. Liberals lie to get their way. They break things to have others pick up their messes. They are like spoiled rich kids who live free of consequences, save for the fatal car wreck or terminal cancer. Liberals are scum, filthy excrement of a society with too much wealth.
If the Foley “scandal” is all they’ve got, the American majority in the House and Senate is safe.
