Life and God give us some immeasurably brief explosions of sheer joy. Tonight, I was cleaning the kitchen after dinner. My son, thirteen, bounded up the stairs to tell me Keith Tkachuk almost scored. I was distracted and grunted some response, like, “Really?”

He turned, pounding a baseball into his new Nike glove, and returned to the basement. There was a shout. Then footsteps beating fast and loud up the steps.Â

Breathlessly, Patrick reported, “Dad, that goal Tkachuk almost had doesn’t matter now, you know why? He just scored.”

That a thirteen-year-old still wants to share such moments–a goal in the first period of a mid-season game for a last place team–almost breaks my heart. Simultaneously, it demands a prayer of thanksgiving.  It was the best Christmas present I received.Â

I’m not kidding or exaggerating. Gateway Pundit  (via Malkin) nails perfectly the men and women who, for the time being, make up the majority of American voters:

How long have I been saying it? (See Saddam Is Dead) How many times have both left and right scolded me (and others) for pointing out that liberalism, at least the style currently in vogue, is incompatible with Americanism. Liberalism is mental illness evidenced by worship of evil and hatred of good. Liberalism is Satanism.Â

GP is right: the left is the enemy. It is not just an alternative political order. Western republican-democratic government cannot coexist with liberalism. It is our bounden duty to put away the left.Â

Jim at Gateway Pundit reports of a liberal “American” demonstration to protest the legal execution of the greatest mass murderer of our time. In response to Jim’s plea, I promise I will not question their patriotism . . . they have none to question!

The Leftist protesters at the rally were organized by a the International Action Center affiliated with former Democratic U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, Saddam Hussein’s Defense Attorney.

Please don’t question their patriotism…

Thirteen years after my first book, The Conservative Manifesto, I’ve dusted off the desktop to try to set the right back on the right path–and to see if we can drag a few middle-of-the-roaders along with us. If all goes well, the book might even win over a few of the enemy.Â

The democratically elected government of Iraq hanged Saddam Hussein for conviction of crimes against humanity.

 Saddam is dead.Â

Here is a tiny summary of Saddam’s crimes from Saddam Crimes:

1. The killing of Sunni religious leaders such as Abdul Aziz Al Badri the Imam of Dragh district mosque in Baghdad in 1969, Al Shaikh Nadhum Al Asi from Ubaid tribe in Northern Iraq, Al Shiakh Al Shahrazori, Al Shaikh Umar Shaqlawa, Al Shiakh Rami Al Kirkukly, Al Shiakh Mohamad Shafeeq Al Badri, Abdul Ghani Shindala.
2. The arrest of hundreds of Iraqi Islamic activists and the execution of five religious leaders in 1974.
3. The arrest of thousand of religious people who rose up against the regime and the killing of hundreds of them in the popular uprising of 1977 in which Ayatollah Mohamad Baqir Al Hakim the leader of SCIRI was sentenced to life imprisonment.
4. The arrest, torture and executions of tens of religious scholars and Islamic activists in such as Qasim Shubbar, Qasim Al Mubarqaa in 1979.Â
5. The arrest, torture and execution of Ayatollah Mohamad baqir Al Sadr and his sistre Amina Al Sadr (Bint Al Huda) in 1980.
6. The war against Iran in 1980 in which hundreds of thousands of Iraqis were killed, and many doubles of that number were handicapped or missed.
7. The arrest of 90 members of Al Hakim family and the execution of 16 members of that family in 1983 to put pressure on Ayatollah Mohamad Baqir Al Hakim to stop his struggle against Saddam’s regime.
8. Using chemical weapons in the North and the South the details of which are below.
9. The occupation of Kuwait which resulted in killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and injuring many doubles of that number in addition to the destruction of Iraq.
10. The assassination of many opposition figures outside Iraq such Haj Sahal Al Salman in UAE in 1981, Sami Mahdi and Ni’ma Mohamad in Pakistan in 1987, Sayed Mahdi Al Hakim in Sudan in 1988, and Shaikh Talib Al Suhail in Lebanon in 1994.
11. The execution of 21 Bath Party leaders in 1979 in Iraq , the assassination of Hardan Al Tikriti former defence Minister in Kuwait in 1973, and the former Prime- Minister Abdul Razzaq Al naef in London 1978.Â

And yet, your newly elected Congressional leaders believe that Saddam is George Bush’s moral superior.

 Democrats are war criminals. Everyone–EVERYONE–who voted for a Democrat in November is war criminal. I really have not respect for them.Â

This is not a time for celebration, but for reflection on what selfish, inhumane sons of bitches most Americans have become.Â
