Arctic Sea Ice Today May Be Higher than 1980
The image below from from University of Illinois shows that Arctic Sea ice nearly matches 1980 levels in area, and far exceeds 1980 in concentration.
Remember the AGW crowd’s hysteria from this time last year until about June of this year? Scientists predicted that the Arctic would be ice-free?
First, this shows nature’s ability to heal itself far exceeds man’s ability to heal it. Second, it shows that the AGW crowd are liars. They weren’t always. At one time they were simply reporting the facts as they knew them. Then they based predictions on those facts. Then they based prescriptions on those facts. When new facts conflicted with the old predictions, weak men like James Hansen began to lie, saying the new facts, not the old predictions, must be wrong.
Let’s look at this date in 2007 verses this date in 2008:

Marxist Rebel Leader Calls for General Strike
Marxist rebel leader Barack Obama has called a general strike among the proletariat on November 4–election day. (From Fox News)
Obama has been encouraging voters to go to the polls for early voting. The Democratic nominee . . . released a new 30-second spot on his Web site urging voters to “talk to your boss” or professor and then take the day off from work or school to volunteer for his campaign on Election Day.
Obama’s Marxist ties go back to his college days where he sought out racial radicals and Marxists. In one his many autobiographies, Obama wrote:
I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.
In this, at least, he tells the truth. Among his friends:
- William Ayers–Co-Founder of the Marxist-anarchist group The Weather Underground. Ayers, who launched Obama’s political career, still preaches Marxism at University of Chicago. Ayers and Obama first met when Obama a was student at Columbia University in New York in the early 1980s.
- Tony Rezko–convicted felon and real estate partner of Obama’s.
- Rev. Jeremiah Wright–anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-white pastor of the church Obama and Ayers conspired to funnel hundreds of thousands of dollars earmarked for education when the two served on the boards of the Wood Foundation.
- Rashid Khalidi–Palestinian terrorism supporter and anti-Semite who is one of Obama’s closest friends. Even the LA Times admits Obama is one of Palestian terrorism’s best friends.
If elected, Obama would be America’s first Marxist president. With his party in control of both houses of Congress, Obama would be in a position to abolish the Constitution and its intentional limits on the powers of government, replacing it with a “redistributive justice” document that gives the government unlimited authority to seize property and redistribute private property.
A vote for Obama is a repudiation of self-government.
The Counter-culture and Redistributive Justice
In small coffee houses and basement bars where only academic elite may drink, the left bastardized the moral principle of "distributive justice." They called it "redistributive justice." Some, mostly leftists attempting to hide their private little plan for socialism, pretend that Obama’s heavy use of the term was coined by Barack in 2001 when he was searching for a word. It wasn’t.
Browsing the left’s web sites, you’ll find academic papers on the subject. (Warning: you’ll gag.) You’ll even find papers sharing Obama’s lament that courts will not, on their own, institute redistributive justice. Rodrigo Nunes’s paper for the 2007 American Political Science Association meeting explains the left’s suspicion of the courts:
Will constitutional courts enforce social rights? According to incentive drive theories of judicial empowerment the answer is no, or at least not initially. Structural constraints and the preferences of power holders create disincentives for the judicial promotion of redistributive justice, and constitutional judges are not likely to pursue decisions that could compromise their institutional legitimacy and well-being.

The radical, transformative goal of redistributive justice . . . should consist in eliminating the structures in the division of labor that allocate certain kinds of devalued work to white women and women of color, and which keep them — especially people of color — in a marginalized underclass "reserve army." [T]he goal of redistribution should be to eliminate the oppressed gender or race as a group, just as the goal of working-class movements must be the elimination of the proletariat as a group
Now, Obama lovers will claim I’m making this all up, that redistributive justice means something mild and acceptable. Here’s the definition from nationmaster.com:
Redistributive Justice is a term used to describe the equalization of property and wealth ownership by direct political fiat. It includes taxation designed to move wealth from one group to another, "land reform" and other means to promote "equality of result" over "equality of opportunity". It is frequently associated with Marxism, socialism, or the transition from aristocracy or other form of oligarchy to more broadly based governments.
Remarkably, modern redistributionists like Obama make John Rawls look like a libertarian.
Barack Obama is a communist. Any attempt to argue otherwise is simply KGB doublespeak.
A Liberal Feminist Defends and Promotes Sarah Palin
There are two reasons to read this column, every inch, every delicious letter, comma, period, semi-colon, and sidebar.
First–
Elaine Lafferty former editor-in-chief of Ms. magazine, has spend a lot of time around Sarah Palin and found her remarkable. Palin smart and has great . . . instincts.
Second–
Read the first comment by an idiot woman named mariah. Mariah was frightened by Palin’s "McCarthy"-like warning that, if Obama is elected, Mariah’s property will be in jeopdy.
Does Mariah not read what Obama says? What does Mariah believe "redistributive justice" means? What could it possibly mean other than "from each according to his means; to each according to his needs?"
Obama Plans to Register Jews
Cleveland, OH — Citing concern for their safety in an increasingly anti-Semitic USA, Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama today announced a plan to provide Jews with additional protection.
The plan, called “HOPE . . . We’ll Protect You,” requires urges Jews to register with their local Social Security Administration office. After filling out a short form, SSA will photograph the citizen and implant a small microchip on the Jew’s left arm. The chip, about the size of a pencil lead, will allow authorities to quickly identify Jews killed or injured should anti-Semitic violence increase.
“Our Zionist friends deserve the best protection our government can provide,” said the Illinois Senator. “But we can’t protect them if we don’t know where they are. I think these chips are a wonderful idea, and I can’t wait to see how this program gives our Jewish citizens a renewed sense of security. I mean, their government will be watching them 24/7.”
Because some Jews may be reluctant to register, the form will also allow volunteers to provide names, addresses, and telephone numbers of their Jewish family and friends. The information will be used only to encourage their friends to register — for their own protection.
MSNBC News pundit Keith Olbermann hailed the program. “This is the kind of security American Jews have always needed,” he said on his nightly program. “With Obama’s government watching them, they won’t need to worry about what happens to Israel. Der Juden will always be welcomed here.”
The Anti-Defamation League released a statement in response to Obama’s executive order plan:
“While we welcome protection against anti-Semitism, we find Senator Obama’s plan unnecessary. Too . . . fascist.”
Next week, Obama plans to announce a similar program to protect conservative bloggers and talk radio hosts.
