Franklin Raines’ Criminal Enterprise and Barack Obama, His Accomplice **UPDATE** Top Recipients By $/Yr in Congress

**TOP OF PAGE UPDATE**

This is an eye-opener.  I’ve simply added Years in Congress and divided total Fraudie

Mae and Fraudie Mac donations by that number to rank the top 15 recipients by $ per Year.  Obama is winner by a ton:

As an executive at Fannie Mae, Franklin Raines illegally coerced his employees to falsify accounting facts so he’d get a maximum bonus.  The government-backed firm used Enron-like fraud, in part at Raines’s orders, to create the largest bail-out in US history. Raines had the whistleblower fired.  From the Heritage Foundation:

In 2004, after a tip from a whistle blower who was later fired, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (Ofheo) issued a report finding that the government-sponsored entity Fannie Mae had engaged in Enron-like accounting machinations that allowed Fannie to overstate its earnings and underestimate the risk the company faced. The accounting wizardry Fannie engaged in was designed so that Fannie could meet profit targets tomaximize bonus payments to company executives like Clinton administration deputy attorney general Jamie Gorelick and Carter administration assistant director for domestic policy Franklin Raines.

From the ACU:

Following his tenure in Democrat Bill Clinton’s White House as Budget Director, Raines returned to Fannie Mae where he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer prior to being forced out over accounting fraud allegations that federal authorities claimed were used to pad his own pocket with tens of millions of dollars in un-earned bonuses on top of his multi-million dollar pay. Raines and other top executives drew multi-million dollar salaries at Fannie Mae for many years.

Although he claimed no wrong doing, Raines agreed to settle the suit with the federal government just this year and agreed to pay back a few million of the near $50 million it had been alleged he obtained illegally through bonuses not due from Fannie Mae.

Now, this criminal is Barack Obama’s campaign adviser.  Only one member of Congress, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, received more kickbacks from Raines’s Fannie Mae cronies than did Barack Obama–over $120,000 in bribes.

Campaign Contributions, 1989-2008 (source)

Name Office State Party Grand Total Total from
PACs
Total from
Individuals
Dodd, Christopher J S CT D $165,400 $48,500 $116,900
Obama, Barack S IL D $126,349 $6,000 $120,349

Dodd has been in Congress since Moses was a baby.  What did Obama do in 2.5 years to earn nearly as  much cash from Frannie and Freddie as Dodd earned in 25?

Remember Countrywide?  According to BusinessWeek Obama’s financial adviser, Raines, was responsible for its demise, too:

The Countrywide project deemed, “friends of Angelo” or FoA, standing for Friends of Countrywide Chief Executive Angelo Mozilo, apparently provided special loan rates for connected officials. These included Raines, James Johnson (a Democratic party activist and adviser to Sen. Barack Obama who was named to a panel to help choose Obama’s Vice Presidential running mate), Democrat Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, Senator Christopher Dodd, and the chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, Democrat Kent Conrad.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac control almost 50 percent of all mortgages in the United States.  They were started by Democrats, protected by Democrat, funded by Democrats, and absorbed into the government proper at the behest of their paid hacks in the Democrat party.  Conservatives have advocated the demolition of these twin towers of corruption, fraud, and bribery for decades.  But Democrats blocked every attempt to even hold hearings on corruption in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

But where are the Congressional hearings?  Where is the Department of Justice?  Why aren’t Raines, Johnson, and Obama doing a perp walk on the evening news?

Because liberals OWN Washington.  Obama will threaten, lie, and kill if he must to keep his sham campaign going.  At this point, he must win to stay of prison.

I cannot believe that conservative bloggers and talk show hosts are staying away from this story.   This should be the end of Barack Obama, particularly after today’s disaster on Wall Street:  Dow down >500, Lehman Brothers GONE, Bear Stearns GONE, Merrill Lynch GONE, Fannie Mae GONE, Freddie Mac GONE, AIG GOING, more to follow.

Lehman Brothers, too, contributed the lion’s share of its political donations to DEMOCRATS.  Why don’t you people rise up and demand some goddamn ACCOUNTABILITY!  This isn’t some little $10 million Chrysler bailout here.   We’re talking BILLIONS of STOLEN MONEY.  Stolen by Democrats, for Democrats.

We could face an economic DEPRESSION because of Obama, Dodd, Biden, Frank, Pelosi, Kennedy, and the rest of the Democrat criminals who’ve destroyed the housing market, put families on the streets, and wrecked Wall Street through greed and avarice on a scale unseen since the Roman Empire!

Fannie also bought off activist groups such as the corrupt Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), which has been indicted, multiple times across the country, for vote fraud (Obama worked closely with ACORN as a street organizer in Chicago). Fannie’s lobbying efforts paid off as liberal politicians such as Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Rep. William Clay (D-Mo.) worked to kill any real reform of Freddie and Fannie. The Washington Post reports: “In an internal memo in 2004, Fannie Mae executive Daniel H. Mudd affirmed what the company’s critics had long contended: In the political arena, ‘we always won’ and ‘we took no prisoners.’”

WAKE UP AND TAKE IT BACK!  It’s YOUR MONEY.

I’ll say it again without any fear of error:  Franklin Raines is  a criminal and Barack Obama is his paid accomplice.  Prove me wrong.

Ignorant Professor Wendy Doniger

The Washington Post wasted ink and tree on the ignorant scribblings of tortured and angry woman named Wendy Doniger.  Doniger is an infanticidal maniac–one of those NAGs who believes that every possible abortion should happen.  (H/T Allahpundit)

I emailed her this reaction directly.  I hope she prints it off and chokes on it.

Dear Prof. Doniger:

You committed an egregious moral error in the last paragraph of your inhumane and profane attack on Sarah Palin. Moreover, your line of attack on Sarah Palin is hypocritical. You, after all, received degrees from universities solely because you have a womb and, specially, the ability to bear (many) children.

First, for your edification, the terms “abortion,” “termination of pregnancy,” and “trimester” appear nowhere in the US Constitution. Copies are available in any library if you don’t believe me. Second, you should think before you publish words that demonstrate either (a) your severe moral corrosion or (b) your extreme intellectual weakness.

To say this:   “Joe Biden’s views are most relevant to the question at hand, since, as a Catholic, he shares much of Palin’s embryological theology: he believes life begins at conception. But he has gone out of his way to insist that he would not impose his personal views on others”

Is to say this: “Joe believes Jews are human beings, but Joe is too good a German to impose his views on others.”

Reduced to my formula, you said: “Biden believes life begins at conception, but Biden is too good an American to impose that view on others.”

Why, under your corrupt theory, should society impose views that killing anyone for any reason is wrong? If a life is fair game for the blender simply because it is small enough to fit in the blender, then the Jew is fair game for the gas chamber simply because he fits in the gas chamber.

Sincerely,

William T. Hennessy

www.hennessysview.com

To take the point further, what if Joe said, “I would never forcibly rape a woman, but I wouldn’t impose that view on others.”  By what moral authority are we, as a society, permitted to impose our view of rape on others?  Because we can hear the victim scream?

In Obama’s view, even if the aborted child emerges screaming and kicking, we should slit its throat to spare the mother the punishment of a child.

The abortionist’s logic must finally come down to this:  society may not place limits on personal behavior, and government must stop anyone from attempting to limit anyone’s behavior.

Stated another way, liberalism is a developmental disorder that renders its victims paralyzed between the mutually exclusive political poles of anarchy and totalitarianism.  Therefore, liberalism is both unsustanable and repulsive.

Who Is Charley James?

Nov 2007 This degenerate America-hater who goes by the name Charley James claims to live in Toronto, and claims to have friends in Alaska. He has earned his 15 minutes of fame by giving himself a Peyote enema and making up a ridiculous story about Sarah Palin complete with a fictitious waitress named "Lucille," a name he probably pulled from Hunter S. Thompson’s "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."  (I don’t have the book in front of me, but I believe that Lucille was the name of the maid that Duke’s attorney attacked in the hotel room when the attorney mistook the maid’s mop for an axe handle.)

Now it’s our turn to find out about Charley James.

On Helium an other sites, James claims to be a former BusinessWeek assistant editor.  I doubt it.  James’s writing is weak, full of filler words, incorrect punctuation, and factual errors.  (For instance, this article, which we submitted as evidence of his skills, claims Bill Gates invented Windows in his garage.  Gates, et al, may have productized DOS in a garage, but Microsoft was well established by the time Windows came along.)

His writing overflows with mindless sentences like these:

There’s actually a simple answer: Stop what you’re probably doing.

Selling more to current customers gets so much attention because it is important.

To much selling involves too many sales people doing a lot of talking but not very much listening. Too often, what happens is that three or four people take turns approaching a customer or client, sometimes with a dizzying parade of PowerPoint slides flashing behind them, as each says how they can meet a customer’s needs, solve a problem, or help them grab an opportunity. Most of these extravaganza’s – which probably took hours to prepare – are too long, detailed or boring.

This writing doesn’t earn a ‘C’ in a high school composition class.  I simply don’t believe BusinessWeek hires such weak editors.

Here’s what we know:

  • "Charley James" may not be he real name
  • James claims to be a former Assistant Editor at Business Week magazine.  I have requested confirmation/denial of Business Week
  • There are 33 people in Toronto named "C James" or some derivation thereof
  • James claims in his blog to live near enough to "the Lake" to walk his dog there regularly
  • Only one C James lives very near Lake Ontario, at [address withheld] Toronto, ON, M1E 2B4
  • James claims on his blog to have been physically assaulted and battered by 3 Americans who crossed the border for the sole purpose of finding him and kicking his ass in broad daylight.  (I doubt this story is true, but these three deserve a medal if it is.)   There would be a police report, but I find none
  • James claims to have worked in multiple newsrooms in the US and Canada, so someone must have worked with him
  • James claims to have been born in Milwaukee, WI, and, judging from his photo (assuming it’s recent), that birth would have taken place between about 1945 and 1960
  • James claims to be a baseball fan

Over the next week, I will find out just who this guy is.  What schools did he attend?  Did he work for BusinessWeek and was he an "Assistant Editor."   I’ve sent inquiries to BusinessWeek and to James himself.

**UPDATE**  An e-mailer points out something I missed:  Does Charley James have visible links to Barack Obama or his campaign?

Harry Reid: Sexist

Ponder this:  The Republicans may win this election because we believe a woman can have both a career and a family, and the Democrats believe she cannot.  Never would have dreamed it possible.

Harry Reid’s office sent a press release describing Sarah Palin’s speech as “shrill” in response to Palin’s shot at Reid’s declaration of surrender.  What a wuss.

The liberal women on CNN are PISSED at Reid.  They take it as a shot at women.  ”Shrill” is a code word.

The Blitzed One tried to claim Reid was referring to Giuliani, but the source confirmed Reid was describing Palin.

“This will backfire,” says CAMPBELL BROWN.

Now there’s an all out battle between the feminists (Campbell Brown and other female CNN folk) and Paul Begala/Donna Brazil.  Check it out.

These women are furious.  Furious at the surrender monkey.
