Confirmed: Coup Attempt Is Under Way In America

Reading Time: 2 minutes

You might have thought I was paranoid for wondering if some people in the CIA and the Deep State are plotting a coup to overturn our recent election.

The Wall Street Journal seems to agree with my conclusion: a coup attempt is going on in America. Rogue actors within the CIA, all of the major leftist media (New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS), and probably major defense contractors seem to be involved, though the Wall Street Journal stops short of accusing advertisers. That’s understandable.

You’re probably thinking about the word “coup” yourself a lot. You’ll probably hear “coup” on the news in the coming days. And you’ll hear about more threats to Electors who plan to vote for Donald Trump on December 19. You will want to remember these words from the Wall Street Journal’s editors:

Only a few weeks ago Hillary Clinton’s campaign was denouncing Donald Trump as un-American for saying the election might be “rigged.” We criticized Mr. Trump at the time. But now that Mrs. Clinton has lost, her campaign is claiming the election really was rigged, albeit for Mr. Trump by Russian meddling, and it wants the Electoral College to stage what amounts to a coup.

That’s the only way to interpret the extraordinary statement Monday by Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta endorsing a special intelligence briefing for electors a week before they cast their ballots for President on Dec. 19. He released the statement hours after 10 members of the Electoral College sent a letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper seeking information on foreign interference in the election to judge if Mr. Trump “is fit to serve.” One of those electors is House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter.

Remember, I was way in front of the WSJ on this coup business. First, Is the CIA Plotting a Coup? UPDATE FBI Disputes CIA Allegation – VIDEOS.

Then, yesterday, I pondered Why Trump Might Never Become President.

I admit that my posts sounded a little paranoid. But it turns out I’m not alone. The staid Wall Street Journal now uses the “coup” word to describe what’s going on in this country. Here’s more from Wall Street Journal:

What should really distress Americans is that the losers are trying to overturn the election results based on little more than anonymous leaks and innuendo. Whatever Russia’s hacking motives, there is no evidence that the emails it turned up were decisive to the election result. Mr. Podesta is citing a CIA judgment that Americans have never seen and whose findings are vaguely public only because one or more unidentified officials chose to relate them to a few reporters last week.

If you find yourself feeling scared or angry, you know why now. This is a serious coup attempt by the left wing and the Deep State to overturn a US election. Wars have been fought over less.

The Wall Street Journal concludes that the Democrats and the press probably know their Electoral College coup will fail. Maybe the left’s motive is only to make the Unites States ungovernable, to throw the country into violent chaos. Would that be any nobler a goal? Seeking chaos is a kind of evil, is it not?

What will those Democrats try next? Nothing lies beneath them.

Why Trump Might Never Become President

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Call me paranoid, but it seems Donald Trump’s chances of taking the oath of office for President are diminishing every day.

You might find yourself wondering why the CIA would plot a coup against Trump and his supporters. If you haven’t wondered about a CIA coup, you should. Focus your awareness for a moment on what Trump means to the people of the Deep State.

The Deep State involves those people and institutions that have insulated themselves from the consequences of elections. I’m not sure the CIA is actually part of the Deep State, but career intelligence people hang around with Deep State actors. Big banks, military systems producers, George Soros, and Warren Buffett are Deep State actors. So are Lockheed-Martin and Boeing. Rather than some wild theory, Deep State actors simply work to insulate themselves from risk. Political elections represent a risk to many, but not to them.

[For more on the Deep State vs. Donald Trump, see Breitbart.]

At least, not usually. Donald Trump’s election is different. Donald Trump and the people who support him threaten the Deep State. The only way I can think to explain the threat Trump represents to the Deep State is the ancient Roman gladiators.

Gladiators fought for their lives in circuses. Romans considered this entertainment. Like football. The game was a life-or-death struggle against other gladiators or against wild animals.

The Romans who attended these spectacles probably bet on the outcome of the matches. Some of these bets were huge, but the bettors had complete control of their own wagering. No matter what the gladiators did on the field, the betting games went on. (You can bet the mainstream media of the day reported on the bets, not the outcome of the deathmatches. The lives of the gladiators didn’t matter. Only the lives of the bettors.)

Think of the gladiators as Trump supporters. The big bettors at the Colosseum are Deep State actors. The bettors treated the gladiators like toys. Roman soldiers forced the gladiators into the pits. The Romans created a myth for slaves: being a gladiator was something to aspire to. Many slaves believed the myth and strove to become gladiators. To amuse the Romans. And toward the end of the Empire, the myths grew to attract free men and free women (yes, there were female gladiators) who signed contracts to fight. Gladiators even became sex symbols, reinforcing the myths.

Imagine how Rome’s Deep State would have reacted to a Roman who exposed the gladiatorial myth? What if a Roman spoke directly to the slaves and the free gladiators, in the language they understood, and told them, “you’re killing yourselves for no reason. You have a right to live your own life.” Imagine how swiftly and brutally the Caesar would  have smitten that blasphemer!

And what is Trump?

Trump is a guy who aroused the modern gladiators and slaves, working men and women who’ve lived as slaves and gladiators for the Deep State’s amusement. Intentionally or not, Trump has opened many eyes to the obvious fact that most Americans live a slave’s life: slave to the Deep State actors. We voted for Trump because we were sick of being slaves.

And the Deep State won’t stand for that. The Romans wouldn’t let their slaves abandon the gladiator fights. The Romans wouldn’t free slaves to pursue their own lives.

In a desperate and frightening show of shadowy force, the CIA, and big media have conjured up an excuse to deny Trump the White House. Their weapon is a fake news story, first in the Washington Post, then the New York Times, now . . . everywhere. The story, the narrative, goes like this: The CIA has proof that Russia manipulated the US election to put Trump into power.

It’s a complete lie, of course, but complete lies are more believable than little lies. And it seems to be working.

The manipulation of the Electoral College is going smoothly. Democrat electors are demanding an intel brief by the CIA. John McCain and Lindsay Graham (spelling intentional) have called for investigations. The White House is now saying, flat out, that Russia stole the election for Trump.

Right now, America’s slaves and gladiators are in a fight we didn’t expect. That means the Deep State got the drop on us. But there are more of us than there are of them. The Deep State has to ask itself this: are the slaves and gladiators a greater threat with or without Trump as their leader? (The Deep State has been attacking Michael Flynn for more than a year.)

With Trump in office, we have hope and patience. If the Deep State steals the election, we are free to do what must be done.

The Deep State has been exposed. It will unwind, one way or the other. The Trump way looks pretty safe and controlled. The other way looks like hell on earth.

P.S. Nothing in this post should be interpreted as a threat or as a call for violence. These are simply my observations of the situation and my expectation of reactions should various scenarios unfold. But you can’t say you weren’t warned.

Is the CIA Plotting a Coup? *UPDATE* FBI Disputes CIA Allegation – VIDEOS

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Many powerful interests around the world loathe Donald Trump and the people who elected him. There’s no disputing that.

One of those powerful interests is the Central Intelligence Agency. One of the CIA’s own, Evan McMullin, attempted to disrupt the election. Like Bay of Pigs and Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction, that CIA plot failed. Even George Will admits the CIA makes some horrible, deadly mistakes. And sometimes those mistakes come from seeing the results they want to see, not the results presented.

Now, the CIA has leaked parts of an alleged, unverified assessment. The Washington Post and New York Times have concluded, based on leaked passages combined with their own imagination of what might be, that the Russian government interfered with the 2016 US election. RNC chairman Reince Priebus calls the story “insane.”

I know former CIA employees who are intelligent, patriotic Americans. I also know that the CIA is a political organization that operates at the pleasure of the President of the United States. You know that the Obama administration used the FBI to advance, not just justice and safety, but the interests of Obama’s political party. You  can imagine how Obama has corrupted the CIA.

You also know that many Republicans make their livings from perpetual war. John McCain and Lindsay Graham are just two such Republicans. War is their first love.

You’ve probably heard that military officers hate war. They hate sending their friends and colleagues off to die. They hate writing letters to grieving widows and parents, “your son served his country with honor and distinction. A grateful nation thanks you for your loss.” No one wants to write those letters. You would hate it. By appointing a few military generals to his cabinet, Mr. Trump has frightened the American war lovers. They see generals as a threat to perpetual war and to all the money perpetual war earns for them.

Donald Trump poses a serious threat to the war machine built and oiled by McCain, Graham, and the CIA. They all profit from war. And they want more of it.

To be fair, it’s possible that McCain and Graham believe now is the best time for an all-out war against Russia. Russia has been getting stronger while America has been getting weaker. It’s as if the US has transferred its military might to the Russians. If McCain and Graham truly believe Russia is building toward a war of conquest against the US, then they probably believe now is our last chance to fight them on something like a level field. So maybe they want war for good reasons in their heads. But they want war with Russia as surely as they want a big fat campaign contribution from Boeing.

The current spasm about the Russia supposedly hacking the US election looks like a pure political hit job. It looks like a coup attempt. It was probably developed in the Oval Office and leaked by an Obama appointee in the CIA. And it looks more sinister than merely an attempt to weaken Trump. It’s an attempt to overthrow the election and put Trump’s supporters in their place. Maybe I’m being paranoid. Maybe not. Either way, pay close attention to the actual facts of this story. Question everything you hear. Especially if the source is the CIA.

UPDATE The FBI disputes the CIA’s conclusion, indicating CIA’s “leak” was politically motivated. (Filed under “I told you so.”) Here’s more on the FBI/CIA dispute from Chicago Tribune.

MORE Gateway Pundit reports a UK diplomat refutes the CIA’s propaganda. The diplomat met with the Wikileaks source. The source is a DNC insider in the USA, not Russian.

UPDATE 2 John Bolton raises possibility of CIA “false flag” operation. Bolton told TheHill.com:

“It is not at all clear to me, just viewing this from the outside, that this hacking into the DNC and the RNC was not a false flag operation,” he told Fox News’ Eric Shawn on Sunday.

When pressed about his use of the phrase “false flag” and whether he was accusing an entity in the U.S. of involvement, Bolton said, “We just don’t know.”

“But I believe that intelligence has been politicized in the Obama administration to a very significant degree.”

Donald Trump: The Greatest President-elect in History

Reading Time: 4 minutes

No one saw this coming.

In the month since the election on November 8, America burst out of the longest economic malaise since the Great Depression. Historians will credit the election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States. Those historians will be right, of course, but how can that be? President Trump won’t take office until Friday, January 20, 2017. Today is December 8, 2016. Yet Trump has already transformed America more in four weeks than Barack Obama did in eight years.

Look at what Trump’s done.

Stock Market, Economy, Outlook

Almost immediately following the election, the stock market rallied. On November 4, the last trading day of the last week before the election, the Dow close at 17,888. On the day following the election, November 9, the Dow was up to 18,589. Tonight, that index closed at 19,614. In between, the Dow, the Nasdaq, and the S&P 500 have set more than a dozen all-time high closes. The stock market loves Trump.

But the stock market is not the economy. So what’s the economy doing?

First, 1,100 jobs we thought were headed from Indiana to Mexico are staying in Indiana. Next, Soft Bank is investing $50 billion and creating 50,000 jobs in America. Then, the CEO of US Steel announced he hopes to re-hire 10,000 laid-off steelworkers. Those are all signs of good things to come. But there are even better signs.

Look at this headline from Business Insider:

Americans From All Corners of the Economy Are Loving Life Since Trump’s Election

Check out these leading indicators (link):

Business Insider points out that across-the-board positive sentiment quickly lifts the overall economy:

This sort of upswing in confidence usually starts to show up outside of surveys and in real data in a short amount of time, according to Meyer’s analysis. The increases in business indexes usually point to an increase in capital expenditures, while the consumer confidence indicators can predict consumer spending.

Expect major good news as retailers begin reporting their Christmas sales.

China On Its Heels

Donald Trump brilliantly told China, “America’s no longer your punching bag.” Some people got all worked up because President-elect Trump took a phone call from the President of Taiwan. The career diplomats and the dishonest media acted like Trump had just threatened to bomb China. But not all career diplomats got bent out of shape.

Jack Tkacik was a careeer diplomat who served overseas in Taipai and Beijing during the Carter and Reagan administration. Mr. Tkacik writes in National Interest:

I am pleasantly amused by the media kerfuffle that engulfs Taiwan president Tsai Ing-wen’s congratulatory phone call on Friday (December 2) to President-elect Donald J. Trump. The president-elect’s subsequent tweet that it is “interesting how the U.S. sells Taiwan billions of dollars in military equipment but I should not accept a congratulatory call” made eloquent sense of the incoming president’s approach to foreign policy in general and of his disdain for self-imposed sensitivities about U.S. policy toward China in particular.

Mr. Tkacik then reminds us that the US never adopted the so-called “One China” policy. Never.

For the record, let me interject that the United States does not now recognize, and never has, a “One China” of which Taiwan is a part.

The December 15, 1978, U.S.-China Normalization Communiqué states that the U.S. side “acknowledges the Chinese position that there is but one China and Taiwan is part of China.” It is often forgotten that two months later, on February 22, 1979, President Carter’s deputy secretary of state, Warren Christopher, explained in Senate hearings that the United States has “acknowledged the Chinese position that Taiwan is part of China, but the United States has not [italics in original] itself agreed to this position.” This remains the position of the United States today.

And even though I’m a fan of Mr. Trump, I don’t believe he thought of this on his own. While I’ve seen reports that former Senator Bob Dole arranged the call, I think it’s more likely Henry Kissinger set it up. Kissinger is a master of sending signals. Mr. Trump is the perfect front man to pull the flag toward America in our tug-o-war with China. Breaking phony diplomatic protocols seems as natural to Mr. Trump as a red necktie.

Consoling Victims and Honoring Heroes

Today, Mr. Trump traveled to to Ohio State University to console the victims of last week’s Muslim terrorist attack. He also honored the heroic law enforcement officers who responded. In particular, he praised the cop who shot the terrorist. He never looked more presidential or more human than he did today.

Then, Mr. Trump went to Des Moines, Iowa to thank voters for their support. He began his remarks with a tribute American legend John Glenn who passed away earlier in the day. Mr. Trump spoke of Senator Glenn as a hero who has inspired generations. Again, Mr. Trump appears to have already stepped into the office.

And He’s Not President Yet

You might be thinking, “Bill, all Presidents do this stuff.” True, more or less. Obama hasn’t been too keen on consoling victims in the past two years. And he’s never praised a cop without also criticizing the police. But that’s not the point.

The point is that Trump is not President yet. Mr. Trump is not on the payroll, but he’s doing the job of President anyway. For free.

I haven’t seen all America’s presidents-in-waiting, but I can’t find a single example of a President-elect working so hard at making America great, even before taking the oath of office. By contrast, Franklin Roosevelt refused to call for a bank holiday during his waiting period. FDR refused to endorse President Hoover’s call for a bank holiday, intentionally maximiming damage to the US economy. FDR wanted to get the credit for the recovery.

Trump doesn’t care who gets credit. He wants to deliver on his promises. And he’s too eager to wait for the formality of a swearing-in. So Mr. Trump has become acting president a little early.

For my money, that makes Donald J. Trump the greatest President-elect in American history.

Civil War: Chapter Twelve

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Roger crashed into his office. His sanctuary. It was only two fifteen, but he wanted a drink. Calls first.

He pulled out is cell phone and decided to call the cop again. But the phone buzzed in his hand before he could find the number.

“Hello,” Roger said.

“Hi, Mr. Thompson? This is Amanda Mateo, one of David’s teachers.”

“Hi. Ms. Mateo. Yeah, we met in August.”

“Oh, yeah, right. Parents’ Night. Of course. Listen, I wanted to find out how David’s doing. I felt so bad yesterday. Is he okay?”

Roger wasn’t sure how much to trust this woman. Her class led to his son’s brutal beating. And it opened up a rift in his marriage.

But Roger knew David needed allies, and David seemed to trust her. “David seems to be doing better today. He has a lot of cuts and puncture wounds. And concussions are scarier now than when I was a kid.”

“I am so sorry,” Amanda said. “Mr. Thompson, I know you probably think I’m terrible for what I did. And it sounds awful to say I was following orders, but I didn’t know what would happen. If I’d known, I’d have said ‘no’ to the lesson plan.”

Roger heard something in her voice. Sincerity? Pain? Guilt? “Well, David is pretty adamant that you were not the problem, Ms. Mateo. He said you helped him.”

She seemed to think about that information. “I tried to. But only after I followed the plan. I really didn’t expect something like that to happen. I want David to be alright. He is a great, great kid.”

“Yeah, he is,” Roger said. “He is.”

“So, I also wanted to tell you something else,” Amanda said. “I talked to Sergeant Franklin today, and he had me give a sworn statement about what happened. It looks like my statement is consistent with David’s. But some other statements are very different.”

“Yeah, Franklin warned me about that yesterday,” Roger said.

“I don’t know what’s going on. The school tried to make me sign a statement that made David look like a monster. I refused. That’s when I went to the police and gave them my statement.”

“What do you mean, making David a monster?” Roger asked.

“I can show you the statement they wanted me to sign. It’s awful. It’s all lies. I got suspended for refusing to sign it, but I’m not going to throw David under the bus. Never. He’s a great kid. He got beat up by eight kids. The principal did nothing to help him. If I didn’t go down there and try to break it up I don’t know what would have happened.”

Any reservations Roger held about Ms. Mateo’s credibility were gone now. “Thank you,” he said. “Thanks for looking out for David.”

“No problem, sir. I want kids to be kids for a change. They don’t need to be involved in grown-up things. They need to be kids, doing kid things. Mr. Thompson?”

“Yeah.”

“I’d like to see David, if that’s okay.”

“See David? Yeah. Sure. When?”

“When you think it’s okay. I don’t want to disturb him if he’s not ready.”

Roger thought about David’s condition. “Why don’t we see how he’s doing tomorrow? I know it’s Saturday, but he’s supposed to be sleeping a lot until the headaches subside.”

“That’s fine. I don’t have any plans tomorrow.. Or Sunday, except for mass. Will you call me when you think he’s ready?”

“Of course. This number?”

“Yeah. That’s my cell phone. If I don’t answer, just leave a message.”

“Okay. I will. Thank you. Thank you for protecting him. And I know you were just doing your job when this all started. I don’t blame you at all.”

“Thank you, Mr. Thompson. That makes me feel better. Please tell David I am thinking about him and praying for him. I’m going to light a candle for him.”

Roger wasn’t Catholic, but he knew lighting a candle for someone is a pretty big deal for Catholics. “That’s wonderful, Ms. Mateo. Thank you. it means a lot.” And he was serious. Her words, her call, meant a lot to him in that moment.

“David will be thrilled to see you.”

“Me, too. Talk soon.”

“Bye.”

“Bye.”

After the call, Roger remembered meeting all of David’s teachers in August. Natalie was there, too, of course. The teachers that Natalie liked, Roger didn’t. And the teachers that Roger liked, Natalie didn’t.

Ms. Mateo was one of the teachers Roger liked.

“You just thought she was hot,” Natalie said of Ms. Mateo.

“No,” Roger said. “She really seemed to like David. And she’s friendly. But, yeah, she’s pretty, too.”

“She’s like twenty-two, Grandpa. Get over it,” Natalie told him.

“She’s closer to twenty-eight or twenty-nine. She just looks twenty-two,” said Roger. “But I’m happily married.”

Natalie looked at her husband. “Maybe you are,” she said. “Maybe.”

“Who was that?” Natalie asked. Roger didn’t notice when she walked into his office.

“David’s teacher,” he said. “The one who broke up the fight. Ms. Mateo.”

“What did she want?” Natalie said.

“She wants to see David.”

Natalie looked at her husband for a few seconds, then turned and started to leave. “I hope you said no,” she said as she walked down the hall.

How am I going explain this, Roger thought.

Study: Kellogg’s Products Deadlier Than Cigarettes?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Kellogg sells mostly simple carbohydrates in the form of breakfast cereal and snacks. Their ad agencies make you think their foods are wholesome and safe. They’re not. They’re mostly simple carbohydrates (grains and sugar) that produce a glycemic shock when eaten. And foods that produce glycemic shock seem to be deadlier than cigarettes. At least that’s the suggestion from a recent study at the University of Texas.

The study of 2,000 lung cancer patients and 2,500 people without lung cancer should raise concern. Tony the Tiger might pose a greater threat to your kids than Joe Camel ever did. Via WSAZ Channel 3:

Researchers looked at 2,000 patients with lung cancer and 2,500 without.

They say non-smokers whose diets had a high glycemic index were more than two times more likely to be diagnosed with lung cancer than non-smokers with a low one.

Dr. Oz says, “A high glycemic index means that the sugar in whatever food you’re eating rushes into your bloodstream because it’s not cobbled together with fiber that would naturally hold it together in your gut.”

Here’s more from CNN>

And from the American Diabetes Association, here are examples of foods with a high glycemic index:

High GI (70 or more)

  • White bread or bagel
  • Corn flakes, puffed rice, bran flakes, instant oatmeal
  • Short grain white rice, rice pasta, macaroni and cheese from mix
  • Russet potato, pumpkin
  • Pretzels, rice cakes, popcorn, saltine crackers melons and pineapple

See more at: http://www.diabetes.org/food-and-fitness/food/what-can-i-eat/understanding-carbohydrates/glycemic-index-and-diabetes.html#sthash.MigP2Hzv.dpuf

And here’s a longer list of glycemic indexes for products, including many Kellogg products from Harvard.

Granted, Kellogg isn’t the only company that packages glycemic poison as wholesome health food. I’m singling out Kellogg because Kellogg has singled out people like me for a hate and acrimony campaign of epic proportions.

Kellogg donated nearly $1 million to Black Lives Matter.

Kellogg pulled advertising from Breitbart News.

Kellogg Foundation funds efforts to destroy True the Vote.

And Breitbart chronicles a whole list of Kellogg and Kellogg Foundation crimes against America.

And Kellogg says terrible things about a lot of Americans who probably eat their poison.

Breitbart provides a convenient list of Kellogg’s potentially deadly products. Before you reach for any of these, you might consider the healthier alternative of a cigarette.

UPDATE: Here’s great wisdom from Ace of Spades.

Some of Kellogg’s brands:

  • Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes®
  • Kellogg’s® Nutri-Grain®
  • Pop-Tarts®
  • Rice Krispies®
  • Cheez-It
  • Kashi
  • Eggo®
  • Frosted Mini-Wheats®
  • Cocoa Krispies
  • Morningstar Farms
  • Famous Amos
  • Kellogg’s Corn Flakes®
  • Kellogg’s Honey Smacks® cereal
  • Corn Pops®
  • Mother’s Cookies
  • Keebler Company
  • Smart Start®
  • Froot Loops™
  • Kellogg’s Raisin Bran®
  • Low Fat Granola
  • Fruit Flavored Snacks
  • Apple Jacks®
  • Cracklin’ Oat Bran®
  • Mueslix®
  • Smart Start®
  • Smorz
  • Kellogg’s Raisin Bran®
  • Krave
  • Crispix®
  • All-Bran®
  • Apple Jacks®
  • Crunchmania

A lot of these things are toasted. Like Lucky Strikes.

If you want to know why Americans are so fat, it might be because governments and doctors have been lying to you about what to eat, especially when it comes to carbohydrates and cholesterol. Possibly because companies like Kellogg pay them to lie to you? It’s called lobbying, and Kellogg’s done a ton of it since 2012 according to OpenSecrets.org. How many studies have they suppressed?

Kellogg’s stock is down, and it’ll probably go lower. Especially when people start to realize Kellogg’s products could be killing their kids. Awful.
