A President Seriously Out of Touch
February 2, 2011
Did you enjoy President Obama’s gooey nostalgia for the Happy Days of Eisenhower and Howdy Doody as much I did? SOTUday Night Fever on KSDK 5
January 25, 2011
I’ll participate on KSDK Channel 5’s post-SOTU discussion panel Tuesday following the State of the Union speech. (I being Bill Hennessy, in case you’re reading this from a news feed.) I don’t know who my fellow panelists will be, but I think it’s pretty cool that a local network invited a tea partier to help break down the President’s State of the Union speech. The speech starts at 8:00 p.m. CT Tuesday, January 25 on KSDK 5.
GOP: Knock Off the Symbolic Crap
January 16, 2011
Just as in 2001, some Republicans are falling for Democrat mind games. In 2001, it was the shared leadership arrangement in the Senate, even thought the GOP had the majority because of the VP tie-break. This year, it’s beginning with “bi-partisan” seating at the State of the Union address. I have one message for Republicans: Knock it the hell off. When a Democrat offers to reach across the aisle, with very few exceptions, it’s to poison a Republican.
Live Blogging Barry's Crappy Reagan Imitation
February 25, 2009
The future is ours. Your disgust with the borrowing and spending, your noble desire to restore the republic the founders wrought, those are the real protests. The tea party is in our hearts and souls–the events are just the physical manifestations. But now, the President: Ninety percent of live blog posts suck. So I did my blog readers a big favor: I tested my quips on Twitter. Here I present my instant reactions that were good enough to get retweeted.
